Update- The Missoni for Target collection was the fastest selling designer collection target has EVER sold! I got in a few really good items! It was a mad dash for all of the coveted zig-zag Missoni designs! One of my dear friends even picked up 2 fantastic pieces for me out of state in California! It was an exciting first day of shopping. I say one day , because stock only lasted for one day. In some cities like downtown Mahattan,New York stock only lasted for 15 short minutes! Wow!

So, the Belize trip is finally upon us! We had to go get some shoes for stepping on stones in the water and such. I picked out some crazy water shoes. My mom found some cute Mary Jane inspired water shoes in a pretty lavender color. I too got some lavender water shoes , but a totally different style. The Vibram FiveFingers Komodo shoe. I thought they looked really comfortable. I know they look strange..kinda cool...but strange. I tried them on and loved em! We shall see how they function in the warm Belizean water.....

My Son and I were given a great gift this Christmas from my mom. She gave us a donation gift certificate for the lending organization Kiva.The gift allowed my son and I to choose people from around the world to lend money to in an effort to further their business aspirations. The interesting thing about this concept is that they will in time pay back the loan. No handouts. Help people help themselves. My son and I chose together how much we would loan(minimum $25 dollars). This gave my son a great feeling of empowerment to be able to help people. Check out the website to see more info. You will get your donation back. After you get your donation back from the organisation you can choose to be repaid or re-lend the money! This is soooooo overdue! V magazine did a fabulous curvy issue this year! It seems as if curvy figures are getting the recognition they deserve. Marc Jacobs company just announced that they will be making a new line next year geared toward "plus" sized women! It is about time! As we know beauty comes in ALL sizes. Bravo to the designers/editors in the fashion industry that are finally catching up to....life :)) I can't wait to see what the future of fashion has to offer women in sizes that are not 0-10.

Oh and on a side note: I will be "Brogueing" my heart out this season also known as "Oxfording" (ok I kinda made it up as a term of actually"ing" almost like "vogueing" but not :/ hahahaha), but you get the point I will be rocking some hot oxford/brogues this fall. Already have a few nice ones lined up. Fall is looking very stylish I must say :) Here the definition 4ya-

My trip to the Miraval Resort and Spa was all that and much more than I expected! The resort offers an array of meandering paths and trails that lead everywhere and nowhere depending on where you want to go..... or not. I went there to get closer to my inner self, and get away from the everyday grind. This place was just the right location for someone like me. It is a place for many different kinds of people because you can get what you want out of it. Take it at your own pace. No pressure. No guilt.Some want to run through the entire extensive sport program that they offer which is included in the generous price, others were very interested in the spiritual courses. I was interested in a little of both and found both very rewarding. If you have a few extra coins, and want to have a nice experience, I recommend visiting the Miraval Spa and Resort.

Although it is a bit pricey for a juice, POM juice(approx 3 dollars a bottle) is so worth it. The health benefits and positive effects on the body are priceless. Some facts:

Pomegranate juice has excellent antioxidant properties. It has about three times more antioxidants ounce for ounce than does red wine or green tea. Some research has also evaluated the antioxidant nature of pomegranate juice and its usefulness in fighting certain forms of cancer. Pomegranate juice has been tentatively shown to reduce incidence of breast and skin cancer. It has also been tested and shown to slow the growth of prostate cancer in mice.

Another interesting study has evaluated pomegranate juice and osteoarthritis. Pomegranate juice tends to act as an inhibitor on enzymes responsible for damaging cartilage. These studies applied extract of pomegranate directly onto damaged cartilage. More research would have to examine a cause and effect relationship between oral ingestion of pomegranate juice and reduction in cartilage deterioration.

The biggest wooden structure in the world! The Tillamook Air Museum. It was built in the 1940's. It is amazing to be inside a place so huge and made completely out of wood! Check it out if on the Oregon coast. Find out about it here. I was truly impressed!

Sweet B is back with a new/old obsession! Green Tea latte's made with "matcha powder"! I adore them, I devour them, I reaaaaaaally really like them. Do u get that I am into them yet??? I just bought my very first tin of "Green Gold'! I have been going to Starbuck's religiously since I moved back to the USA to get my green tea fix 2 x a day. Now I can make them at home! What used to only be good enough for the Japanese royals is definitely good enough for Sweet B! Try it...u might enjoy it as much as I do.

Sweet B is Moving to the beautiful pacific northwest to Portland, Oregon! After 16 years in europe it is finally time to come on home to the USA! I am very excited about the move, and will also miss my life in europe. I will be taking off a couple of days to prepare for the BIG move. One of my favorite places to visit when I am in Napa Valley ,California is the Niebaum -Coppola winery. The winery is owned by the world reknowned director Francis Ford Coppola. The sparkling wine named after his daughter'Sophia' is absolutely recommended! Check out more about the winery here
